Older versions and release notes are on the releases page. Once it's installed, HopBot keeps itself up to date.

Install it

On a Mac

  1. Open the downloaded .dmg file.
  2. Drag HopBot onto the Applications folder.
  3. Open HopBot from Applications. It's signed and notarized by Apple.

Needs macOS 13 Ventura or later.

On Windows

  1. Run the downloaded HopBot-Setup file. No administrator rights needed.
  2. If Windows says it protected your PC, click More info, then Run anyway. The installer isn't code-signed yet.
  3. Install Git for Windows, which agents use to run commands.

Needs Windows 10 or later.

Always on, on your server

The app installs HopBot on any Linux server you can SSH into, from Settings → Computers. Or run this on the server, then connect to it from the app:
